Long description
- Palermo RZ is the founding variety of the Sweet Palermo® pepper concept.
- It has a large fruit shape, deep red color and great flavour. The average fruit weight is 100-130 grams.
- Palermo RZ is a late variety with slow coloring, and it has a very good pre-harvest and post-harvest shelf life.
- In warm climates, Palermo RZ should be harvested between 50% and 70% red coloring. After 2 days storage, it will be fully colored.
- It has a vegetative tall plant type with a semi-open habit. Palermo RZ tends to produce fruits in flushes.
- It is part of the Sweet Palermo® range and is exclusively available to Sweet Palermo® partners.
- Palermo RZ is recommended for winter and higher-tech cultivation cycles, including organic production.
