Professional facilities for working, demonstration and R&D

It is the largest investment by Rijk Zwaan in the region thus far. Therefore, we aim to operate the station with 3 primary functions. The first is a modern working place for employees and guests, including a spacious venue to organize conferences and seminars. Secondly, demonstrations will be presented in our mid-tech greenhouses, net houses and open fields where we share our innovative varieties and best-growing practices. And lastly, of course, Research and Development purposes.

Protected cultivation is the main focus

Since March 2024, the local team has started trials in the station. The initial testing phase is significantly important to check and evaluate all of the facilities. In addition, the main crops are tomatoes, cucumber, lettuce, sweet pepper and outdoor crops. Also, it is important to note that in Asia, Rijk Zwaan continues to focus strategically on protected cultivation and the transformation from outdoor to indoor crops.
